Who dies after Coronation Street flash-forward? All murderous motives revealed
The murder twist on Coronation Street may have already been solved thanks to some clues.
Hints in recent storylines may give away which characters will not die in April, when a Weatherfield resident turns killer. Fans know after Monday’s episode that five characters face a grim fate, and all of them will no doubt feature in drama.
According to flashforward scenes, either Megan Walsh, Maggie Driscoll, Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey or Theo Silverton will die at the hands of a mystery culprit. There’s motives and suspects for all of them, but maybe some recent news could rule some of them out as victims.
First off, Megan is pregnant. She told Will she was carrying his baby, and as far as we know, she did not have the planned termination. So would Corrie or a character really kill a pregnant woman?

Then there’s Jodie, Shona Platt’s sister. She’s clearly hiding something and could be out to destroy her sister’s life. But is this really a killable offence?

Would someone really murder her and would there be enough suspects. We also still do not know her link to Graham Foster from Emmerdale, after the Corriedale crossover.
Corrie boss Kate Brooks promised all would be made clear. Given the death happens in two months, is this enough time for all her secrets to be exposed and for her to die?
Maggie is also someone that would be quite a shock if they died. There’s still secrets to be exposed and she only joined in September last year. Would they really kill her off so soon, and has she really done anything that would spark a whodunnit?
This leaves Carl Webster and Theo Silverton. Both characters are no longer redeemable as their villainous actions have gone too far. They have the most motives and the most suspects, so it seems likely one of them will die.
They also could be a suspect for each other, both knowing each other’s recent secrets. Theo is abusive towards his partner Todd Grimshaw, and he’s also killed Billy Mayhew.

Carl has been running dodgy schemes, he stole his brother’s wife and then dumped her, and he stole his sister’s money from her business. Amid an arson plan and him allowing Debbie Webster to go to prison for a crime he committed, there is plenty of motive for a number of people to want Carl dead.
Out of the two characters, it would no doubt be preferred that Carl died, and he certainly seems the most likely victim. As for Theo, fans will likely want to see him face justice properly, and go to prison for his abuse towards Todd, and him murdering Billy.
