CORONATION Street’s twisted sister Jodie Ramsey will be exposed next week as she’s caught pretending to be baby Harper’s mum.

Viewers know Jodie has been secretly stealing random objects from her neighbours for weeks and next week Lily discovers her box of trinkets.

She’s puzzled to find the cut out photo of Bernie and Brian’s book.

And at the hospital the mum who mistook her for Harper’s mum approaches Jodie and enquires after her.

As Jodie talks about her daughter’s operation, she’s horrified to realise Shona’s standing right behind her.

Will Shona finally realise there is something wrong with Jodie?

And later at the Platts Lily confronts Jodie with all the stolen items – but will she be able to talk her way out of both things?

Actress Julia Goulding has spoken about the storyline and how Shona is going to react to her sister’s increasingly unhinged behaviour.

Talking about the moment where Jodie is mistaken for Harper’s mum in front of Shona, Julia said: “It definitely raised a red flag, but Jodie is a very skilled manipulator and a quick liar.

“Shona is so emotionally on her knees that she simply doesn’t have the capacity to take on any more drama.

“She just brushes it off because she’s too exhausted to fight it.”

And then when she catches Jodie pretending to be Harper’s mum – Shona still doesn’t get it properly.

Julia added: “Oh, she’s fuming initially! She’s like, ‘What are you playing at?’

“But Jodie is so good at talking her way out of things that Shona ends up believing her.

“It’s hard to get into that headspace sometimes because it feels so risky, but Shona just wants to trust her sister.”

However once the truth is exposed about Jodie, Julia can’t wait for Shona to deal with her.

She said: “I’d love to see Shona kick off and bring back that ‘Bad Shona’ energy!

“She’s been made a lot softer on the street lately.

“I want to see the hard Shona return – the one people should actually fear!”
