I’M A Celebrity star Shona McGarty’s ex fiance David Bracken has broken his social media silence as the actress enters the jungle.
The Sun were first to reveal earlier this month how the couple had mutually called off their engagement.
Irish guitarist David, 38, and EastEnders star Shona, 34, only got engaged last year.
But they parted ways just before the actress, who found fame at 16 playing Whitney Dean in the BBC1 soap, shortly before she headed off to Australia to take part in I’m A Celebrity.
Last night, ITV viewers watched Shona parachute onto the show.
However, proving there are no hard feelings with his ex-fiancee, David has shown his support for Shona as she takes on the tough jungle.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, he broke his silence over their split and shared a sweet picture of them together.
David wrote over the top of the picture: “Let’s go girl! You got this.”
The Sun revealed a few weeks ago how Shona and David had called time on the romance, but had parted on good terms.
A source said at the time: “They are on amicable terms, but have ended their romantic relationship.

“There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends. Shona is now focusing on her music and career.”
Shona and David, who lives in Ireland, met on TikTok two years ago and the former Blessed band member proposed during a picnic in Kensington, West London.

Opening up about the proposal to OK magazine, Shona said at the time: “David took me to this beautiful Japanese garden because I love Japanese culture and the spirituality of it.
“He brought a picnic, which was really sweet. It was lovely, I was in my element but I didn’t think he was going to propose.”
Discussing plans for an Irish wedding, she said: “We want to get married in Ireland because I have so much family there, as does David.
“We’re thinking West Cork, it’s so beautiful and picturesque.
“We’re both Catholic, so we’d want to get married in a Catholic church and a lot of the churches there are amazing.”
Shona previously dated EastEnders co-stars Max Bowden, 30, who played Ben Mitchell, and Matt Lapinskas, 36 — Anthony Moon in the soap.
Since Shona left last year, she has received rave reviews for her role as Jenny in hit play 2:22 A Ghost Story — and as the lead in new musical Bettie Page, Queen Of Pin-Ups.
