Former Soap Star Lucy-Jo Hudson Confirms Health Crisis Following Emergency Hospital Dash

Lucy-Jo Hudson, the actress best known for her roles in Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, recently shared a significant personal update with her fans, confirming a serious health scare that required an emergency hospital visit.

The star revealed she had been rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe shortness of breath and chest pains. Upon diagnosis, doctors confirmed her Haemoglobin (HB) levels were dangerously low, necessitating an emergency blood transfusion. The actress ultimately required two transfusions to stabilize her condition.

In a candid social media post, Hudson shared that her HB levels were recorded at 67 (significantly below the normal range of 115–155), and her iron levels were critically low.
