NO JOE-KE Emmerdale fans call out ‘blunder’ as John Sugden’s killer confesses to his murder
VIEWERS of the epic Corriedale crossover are convinced they’ve found a plot hole as John Sugden’s killer confessed to his murder.
In the landmark ITV episode, which aired on Monday, the killer finally met his demise, as he was pictured dead in the woods in the final moments.

The final shot saw half-sister Victoria standing over him shocked, and in Tuesday’s episode, she confessed her crime to brother Robert and his partner Aaron Dingle.
The couple reassured Victoria that she was fine, as no one else knew what had happened, but the camera then flashed back to Joe Tate standing in the woods, filming what happened between Victoria and John.
But Emmerdale fans have been quick to question how Joe could have been in the woods in the first place, considering he had been blown off his feet by an earlier explosion and taken to hospital.
The video on Joe’s phone showed Victoria covering her tracks as she wiped her prints off the syringe she used to kill him and placed it in his hand – making it look like a suicide.

Joe was last seen at the end of Monday’s episode in hospital a hospital bed with concussion, leaving fans perplexed by what then transpired in Tuesday’s edition.
One fan said: “Wasn’t Joe taken to hospital? But here he is recording people being murdered after being blown of his feet from an explosion…”
Another eagle-eyed Emmerdale fan said: “So, where was Joe in the time from him waking up to the hospital scene? My theory is that he saw Robert and Cain run into the woods after Aaron putting him in the ambulance.
“He follows, assuming he would catch Robert killing John and blackmail him about it.”

A third viewer added: “How’s Joe Tate filming Victoria? Thought he was injured when the minibus exploded and was taken to hospital?”

A fourth fan, equally as confused by the ‘blunder’ said: “How did a concussed Joe Tate, get up, go into the woods and use his phone to film Vic?”
Emmerdale have since disclosed that Victoria’s deception will unravel.
Producer Laura Shaw said: “The truth about John’s death will be revealed, as Victoria’s clever deception, making John’s death look like suicide, will unravel.
“Evil Joe Tate knows the truth and has damning video evidence which he plans to use to get what he wants from the Sugdens, potentially taking control of Butler’s Farm.
“Robert is also in the thick of it, trying to save Victoria by planting evidence.”
