NEW LOOK EastEnders star unrecognisable as she reveals brand new career 27 years after iconic death on soap

AN EASTENDERS star looks totally unrecognisable in her new career 27 years after her iconic soap death.

The soap actress is best known for playing unhinged bunny boiler Saskia Duncan, whose jealousy turned dangerous when her love interest Steve fell for Melanie Healy played by Tamzin Outhwaite.

Her rage came to a head on Valentine’s Day in 1998 when she turned up at Steve’s club, E20 and told him she’d aborted his baby before trying to strangle him.

In an act of self-defence Steve hit her on the head with an ashtray which killed her, however he framed the young Matthew Rose (Joe Absolom) for the murder, as he was also there at the time.

Despite only appearing in Albert Square from 1998 to 1999, actress Deborah Sheridan-Taylor‘s grisly demise became one of the most memorable murder soap scenes.

Fast forward 27 years on and Debbie has swapped her TV star career for a rather different job.
