Is Bear leaving Emmerdale? Second huge exit ‘lined up’ as fan favourite taken away
There was a sad twist on Emmerdale on Friday night that could lead to another big exit.
A day on from Victoria Sugden leaving the village, Friday saw a fan favourite led away. Bear Wolf finally confessed to killing Ray Walters in a twist, and soon the police were driving him away.
Taken out of the village after he confessed to murder, it’s not quite clear what the future holds. But will it lead to Bear leaving the show if he’s sent down for his crime.

Fans know that Bear accidentally killed Ray last month after Ray’s attempt to murder Paddy Dingle, Bear’s son, and teen Dylan Penders. In the fallout, the trio covered up the crime only for the body to be found.
Spoilers for next week confirmed Bear would confess to the crime and be charged with manslaughter. His future remains unknown as he vows to face justice and take full responsibility for his crime.
While his family will hope he gets feed given the circumstance, Bear makes it clear he will pleas guilty. As for Friday’s episode, it was the moment he confessed to the police.
In the special episode that focused on the impact of the modern slavery storyline, as well as villain Ray and Celia Daniels’ drug schemes and the rest, we heard the characters caught up in it all speaking about what they went through. Bear was included in that, and he was struggling as he opened up about his friendship with Ray.

Trying to come to terms with the fact that Ray had actually bene manipulating him, he kept seeing a vision of Ray who was taunting him. Ray was saying things like how he should confess to what he did, and how he wasn’t the victim.
As the counsellor opened up about being a survivor of a similar experience to Bear, it made him want to know more about her ordeal. As the counsellor shared her story and how she escaped that life, Bear started to realise Ray was similar to the person that exploited her.
He confirmed Anya was dead and how Ray and Celia didn’t help her. He became emotional as he recounted what happened, realising Ray was “evil” before realising all the tactics Ray had used to trick him.
Bear feared he’d “never be right again” as his head was all over the place, before he confessed he was a murderer. Calling himself a monster, he blamed Ray for this and admitted killing him.
Shortly after he was handcuffed and led out into the village, put into the back of a police car. It emerged he had called the police himself to confess, but will he be back or will this lead to an exit?
