HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Emmerdale ties up the loose end of Graham kidnapping Jodie in Corriedale

It’s a mystery that’s reached all the way back to Corriedale: why was Coronation Street’s new crazy, Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) in the back of Emmerdale’s most mysterious man, Graham Foster’s (Andrew Scarborough) van?

The mystery has finally been solved and it seems that Jodie is more than just a psycho sister, determined to destroy Shona’s (Julia Goulding) life by turning her entire family against her and claiming her husband, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), for her own.

‘It’s a complicated story, it’s not straightforward, but it’s all going to be cleared up, eventually,’ Olivia previously told The Mirror.

‘There’s going be a few twists and turns before we get there,’ she continued. ‘It’s been difficult – everyone wants to know. It seems like everybody’s got that question, and I always get it, and I can’t answer it.’

The reasoning behind Jodie’s presence in Graham’s van has been revealed
As it turns out, Graham was paid by a highly powerful and dangerous organised crime gang to get rid of Jodie once and for all. Clearly her villainy reaches far beyond a spot of sister sabotage.

This week saw Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) summoned to Home Farm, only to find a battered, beaten and bloodied Graham in a barn.

‘She goes there and Graham has been attacked – and unbeknownst to her at this point, stabbed,’ Zoe explained.

While Rhona was insistent that Graham go to the hospital, he was resolute that he won’t. As she pressured him to tell her what’d happened, he explained that the beating was a result of his failure to ‘end’ Jodie after he released her following the Corriedale pile up.

‘You remember that problem I was hired to get rid of? I told you when I first saw you. That problem was named Jodie. This is my punishment for letting her escape then terminating my contract,’ he said as she tended to him.

‘It transpires that this has happened because of Rhona. So Jodie – who was at the back of the car in the Corriedale ep – that was a job for Graham and she got away, so he failed the mission,’ Zoe said, explaining the circumstances further.

‘He laid low and hoped that would be the end of it, but then when Dylan went missing Rhona pleaded with him for help and said: “Can you help find him?”

‘And in doing so, he exposed where he was and so therefore these people that he’d been working for came to find him and that was then teaching him a lesson.’

Could Jodie be murdered?

Is Jodie the body that Betsy will find?
With an upcoming ‘whodunnit’ involving five of the shows most morally compromised characters, could Jodie find herself as the corpse Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) finds?

‘There’s a big storyline coming up with the villains,’ Olivia said at the Manchester Film Festival.

‘It’s a bit of a whodunit situation. Yeah, a lot of juicy scenes. All of the villains have been up to a lot of juicy things.’

‘The big stories we have on the table, it gives us a destination for those big stories to all come together and be involved in a much bigger storyline,’ Corrie producer, Kate Brooks, previously teased.

‘It’s very complicated and very intricate but essentially what we’re playing is a “who is it?” story where we don’t know who died and what the situation is around the death, but it will give the stories that are currently running a destination point as we try to figure out which person has met an untimely demise.’
