HORROR ACCIDENT EastEnders’ Jake Wood begs fans for help after beloved colleague plunges 11 floors from roof and is left in a coma
EASTENDERS star Jake Wood is urging fans to help as a colleague fights for his life following a fall from an 11-storey building.
Electrician Connor, who works on the set of the BBC soap, was travelling in Colombia over Christmas when the accident happened.

He spent nine days in a coma and had multiple life-saving surgeries with his mum saying it is a “miracle” he survived.
Now the family is desperately trying to raise £26,000 to cover Connor’s medical bills.
Jake shared the gofundme page on Instagram and wrote: “Please help Connor and his family at this devastating time.
“He is a top man and respected by everyone here who works at the studios please help if you can thank you.”
The EastEnders cast has put its money where its mouth is.
Jake has given £200, and Scott Maslen £300, with Emma Barton, Gillian Taylforth, Jessie Wallace, Diane Parish, Colin Salmon, and Adam Woodyatt all giving £100.
Clair Norris contributed £50, while Jacqueline Jossa donated £200.
So far a total of £22,790 has been raised.
The family said they aren’t sure if Connor will receive an insurance payout or how long that process will take.
Page organiser Victoria Dean issued an update on January 2, sharing that Connor was aware his mum Denise was by his side.
It read: “After 9 days in a coma, he is now off of mechanical ventilation and breathing with minimal support.
