Emmerdale spoilers have unveiled the next chapter for Jacob Gallagher amidst a distressing workplace bullying plot.

Earlier this year, Doctor Todd, portrayed by Caroline Harker, returned to her role as supervisor to trainee doctor Jacob, played by Joe-Warren Plant.
However, despite Jacob being a bright and driven young doctor, his professional life has turned into a battlefield in a new workplace bullying storyline.
Doctor Todd has made a comeback with a vengeance, quick to pinpoint errors and relentlessly criticise her eager trainee. The storyline has also explored Jacob’s struggle to balance his work and personal life under the immense strain of his domineering boss.
The stakes have escalated further with Doctor Todd establishing herself in the village, blurring the boundaries between Jacob’s professional and private life.

Now, fresh spoilers have disclosed what lies ahead for Jacob. According to Inside Soap, in forthcoming scenes, Jacob finds himself under strain.
The magazine hints: “Jacob’s faced with more work stress next week, when one of his neighbours is hospitalised. Will he step up to help treat them? Or buckle under the pressure?”
This follows Doctor Todd actress Caroline Harker’s comments on her return and the storyline: “I’m delighted to be back at Emmerdale for a longer stint playing Doctor Todd. She’s a complex character and from what I’ve been told so far, quite a tricky one for Jacob to navigate.

“Workplace bullying is commonplace, and it will be interesting to see it brought to our screens in a serial drama such as Emmerdale.”
Meanwhile, Emmerdale Producer Laura Shaw stated: “We are looking forward to seeing the machinations of someone like Caitlin Todd, and it’s not just at the hospital where she will start to make an impression.
“Caroline is a fabulous actor and brings such great experience to this role – we can’t wait for her to play out what we have planned for the character.”
