EastEnders’ Mark to make crucial mistake in search for secret informant
EastEnders’ Mark Fowler makes a crucial mistake next week, when he tells Ravi Gulati that he is trying to sniff out a police informant! Unaware that he has confided in the wrong person, will he live to regret this dodgy decision?
When Mark reappeared on the Square battered and bruised last month, we soon discovered that he is involved with a drugs operation – and had been beaten up by his colleagues, who thought he was giving intel to the cops.
He reached out to his uncle Phil and asked him to help find the real mole. It’s a mystery that has become even more important to solve, as Mark has been warned by the gang that his half-sister Vicki will be hurt if the blame continues to fall at his door.
But viewers already know that the actual police informant is Ravi, who could find himself in grave danger…

“Ravi tells detective Jack that he is meeting a new contact from the gang today, as his informant work continues,” reveals our EastEnders insider. “But he is completely stunned when he later discovers that it’s none other than local Mark!”
It’s likely that Mark will be pretty surprised about this too, as in this week’s episodes he met Ravi for the first time. The pair chatted about cars, and Mark had no idea that Ravi is exactly who he is desperately looking for.
Ravi is rattled by Mark’s tough questions during their meeting, but he soon has a bigger issue to deal with when Nugget is rushed to hospital. The events of the week take their toll and Ravi later heads to the bar for a serious drinking session.

But at Harry’s Barn, a sinister situation soon escalates, and Ravi and Mark team up to save the day…
“Ravi and Mark fight back against a sleazy group of men who are hitting on Chelsea,” says our source. “When Ravi saves Mark from danger, Mark is impressed – so decides to tell his co-worker about his mission to find the informant in the gang!”
With the real police informant now aware he is under threat, can Ravi cover his tracks before it’s too late?
