EastEnders favourite’s future confirmed after fears she’d left the BBC soap
A young EastEnders star will continue to grace our screens for the foreseeable following fears from fans that she had left.
Isabella Brown, who is 13, has played the role of Lexi Pearce in the BBC One soap since 2019.
The character is daughter of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
Lexi has experienced a great deal of loss already in her life. In 2023, her mum Lola died following a brain tumour diagnosis. A year later, her dad Ben was sentenced to prison after committing fraud in America.
This left Lexi in Jay Brown’s (Jamie Borthwick) care. However, when Jay discovered his Granddad wasn’t well, he ventured up North, and isn’t returning to Walford due to starting a new relationship.
It means young Lexi is now being looked after by Ben’s ex-partner Callum Highway (Tony Clay), along with his new boyfriend Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), plus Lola’s granddad Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).

Last year, fans of the BBC One soap started to fear the character had left Albert Square as didn’t feature a great deal in episodes.
Fortunately, the drama school KA Arts has confirmed Isabella is continuing to film as Lexi, and it looks like things are going to get busy for the star.
Sharing a headshot picture of Isabella on Instagram, the account wrote alongside: ‘We are so proud of our incredibly talented Isabella, who has been confirmed to continue playing the role of #Lexi in @bbceastenders for the 8th consecutive year.
They added: ‘Isabella is heading into an extremely busy filming period, yet is still committed to her training and school studies.
‘Hard work and commitment is key. It’s all in the training.’
Recently, Callum mader a discovery about Lexi in the aftermath of Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) moving into a care home.

After Lexi claimed that she was too poorly to go to school, Callum quickly suspected that something wasn’t quite right. It became clear this wasn’t the first time Lexi had tried to dodge school, and Callum realised her supposed illness was actually her way of coping with everything that’s been going on.
Callum gently told Lexi that while he understands she’s dealing with a lot, he’d have to speak with a doctor if she continued missing school.
In reality, Lexi simply wants to spend more time with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Sam (Kim Medcalf) instead of facing the outside world.
With Nigel settling into his new life at the care home and the people closest to him struggling to come to terms with the change, emotions are continuing to run high across the Square.
