There’s an EastEnders bombshell in Thursday’s episode that could change everything.

Now, fans who have seen it believe it could lead to another twist further down the time. It could also explain a flashforward scene we saw earlier this month too, set to air fully next January.

What we can say though is Anthony’s loved ones prepare to say goodbye to him after his shock death on Christmas Day. Zoe Slater is currently in prison for the crime she did not commit, while her mother Kat Moon believes Chrissie Watts did the killing and then fled.

Jasmine has been struggling ever since she found out Anthony was her dad, and the whole drama with Chrissie and Zoe. With Zoe taken away and now in a cell, Jasmine has been acting strangely for weeks.

That behaviour was explained on Thursday, when she visited Anthony’s body at the undertakers. She told him exactly what she thought about the bombshell that he was her dad, not knowing this until after his death.

Then came a bombshell, as something she told him changes everything on the soap. She appeared to have proof to back her claim too, and if uncovered it could spell the end of one character.

Viewers will just have to watch the episode now or this evening themselves to find out what the evidence is, and what Jasmine’s secret is. Viewers are already discussing it on social media.

Some fans think it might explain the flashforward scene, where Patrick Trueman tells Jasmine’s love interest Oscar Branning that “he’s a Trueman now”. So what happens between now and January for Patrick to say this?

Fans think the twist will lead to Patrick taking Oscar under his wing as Jasmine could leave Walford. Another theory was that a possible exit for Jasmine will lead to her mystery twin brother joining the show, and he might be in a romance with Oscar.

A theory said: “So given what we know tonight and Patrick saying to Oscar “You’re a Trueman now” does that mean that Oscar ends up marrying or dating Jasmine’s twin brother? We know he’s on his way to Walford and he could be the suprise catalyst that exposes Jasmine and frees Zoe.”

Another fan wrote: “Somehow this could pave the way for Jasmine’s exit with Kat/Zoe/Oscar/Patrick either turning her in/getting her help, or Jasmine running. Patrick on the other hand will be okay as he’s in the Flashforward with Oscar, who appears to have taken Oscar under his wing.”
