EastEnders fans spot ‘major plot hole’ as Harry Mitchell’s life remains in danger

EastEnders viewers have been left baffled as one character has vanished from Walford whilst a sinister storyline plays out.

As devotees of the BBC One soap will recall, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) has reached his lowest point following his kidnapping by villainous Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu).

Harry’s nightmare began when Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Okie coerced him into peddling drugs as the duo operated a substantial enterprise across East London.

In time, Harry grew troubled by the escalating exploitation of Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), but Ravi and Okie joined forces to silence him permanently. Last week, Harry was abducted, with his survival hanging in the balance, reports OK!.

Ravi departed Albert Square for a winter break with his relatives, ordering Okie to release Harry, yet the mechanic remains imprisoned.

Okie has been taunting Harry by sharing a beverage with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), urging him to take drugs and supplying minimal sustenance. He’s also made threats against Harry’s life.

Prior to Harry’s capture by Ravi, he revealed to his mother, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), the full extent of his participation in their narcotics operation.

Nicola handed over money to Ravi for Harry’s release, but remains unaware that her son has been seized by the criminals, prompting fans to question her whereabouts and why she hasn’t noticed his disappearance.

Taking to X, one viewer posted: “Btw…where the hell is Nicola #EastEnders.”

One viewer exclaimed: “Okie slipping up once again. Now, Teddy get Nicola on the phone, bring her home, and save Harry. #EastEnders.”

Another queried: “Where’s Nicola – she would have known that something was off with Harry missing from day 1! ! ! ! #EastEnders.”

“Can’t cope with Nicola going missing and Teddy not finding it odd that the camera he’s planted has been disconnected, and wondering where Harry is. #eastenders”, a fan expressed.
