EastEnders announces surprise new Anthony Trueman plot – two months after his death
EastEnders has announced a new storyline centred on Anthony Trueman as his dad Patrick resorts to an unexpected method to cope with his grief. The soap’s fans know that Anthony’s biological daughter Jasmine Fisher is responsible for his death, though her mum Zoe Slater is currently behind bars for his murder.
As a runaway Jasmine is lured back to Walford in scenes airing next week, she is set to face the music for her actions after her grandma Kat Moon teams up with Chrissie Watts.
Meanwhile, Patrick is struggling with the loss of Anthony and is set to turn to AI to soothe his pain.
The storyline airs as part of the BBC’s AI Unpacked Week, running across BBC TV channels and radio stations from 2 to 8 March.
The BBC One soap will feature a storyline which will see Patrick become increasingly reliant on AI software as he navigates the loss of his son.
