EastEnders airs two exits amid Kat’s ultimate betrayal in early iPlayer release
EastEnders has aired the exits for two characters as Kat Moon finally gets answers about Anthony Trueman’s death. With Jasmine Fisher having confessed to his murder, Kat is left with a dilemma – and makes a decision that will change everything.
Kat was stunned by Jasmine’s admission, furious that Zoe is currently in prison for his crime. Jasmine burst into tears and Kat promised that she wouldn’t grass her up.
Jasmine explained exactly what happened on Christmas Day, saying that she started filming Anthony who had attacked Zoe, and hit him with a salt lamp to stop him from attacking her as well.
But as their conversation continued, Kat couldn’t see past the fact that Jasmine tormented Zoe for months then saw her mum sent down for a crime she didn’t commit.

Chrissie stormed into the room with Jake in tow, and Kat made out that she believed Jasmine didn’t kill Anthony, so they left the pub after another violent confrontation.
Jasmine went downstairs to find her bag, which contained her phone and the video footage that proved she killed Anthony in self-defence.
However, her bag was nowhere to be found in the pub, so Jasmine suddenly ran off. Mo and Sam encouraged Kat to call the police on Jasmine, but Kat insisted that this would be against Zoe’s wishes.

With the phone gone, Jasmine returned to The Vic with the murder weapon, suggesting to Kat that they wipe her prints off and put the blame on Chrissie.
Meanwhile, Jake apologised to Chrissie for believing she killed Anthony. He wanted them to make a fresh start together so asked her to give him an hour, promising to make it up to her.
Chrissie had a drink in The Albert as she waited for Jake and was introduced to Cindy. When Jake returned, Chrissie threatened to report him to the police for killing his brother Danny, wanting him to feel as betrayed as she did.

But Jake had picked up a ring and proposed to Chrissie, and she eventually said a tearful yes. The pair heard police sirens, and Chrissie assumed that either Kat or Jasmine had grassed her up – so she and Jake made a quick getaway from Walford.
However, when the police arrived on the Square, Jasmine realised that Kat had phoned the authorities herself. To the horror of Patrick and the Truemans, Jasmine was arrested for Anthony’s murder.
As Jasmine was taken away, she urged Oscar to find the missing black bag that contained her phone with the video footage – and warned Kat that Zoe will never forgive about this.
Will Kat come to regret her actions?
