EMMERDALE actress Isabel Hodgins has given birth to her first child.

The 32-year-old, who is best known for her role as Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap, shared the happy news on her Instagram today.

Isabel posted a sweet video and confirmed that daughter Georgie Grace Whitehead was born on February 11.

The video showed Isabel at the hospital before she gave birth.

She then put a caption which read: “On the 11th February at 1.02am… Georgie Grace Whitehead,” with the audio of her baby crying.

Isabel revealed that her newborn weighed 8lbs 5 ounces.

The soap star then shared a sweet black and white polaroid photo of her cradling her newborn from her hospital bed.

Isabel captioned the post: “And then we heard you,” with a pink love heart emoji.

Her soap co-stars raced to congratulate her.

Danny Miller wrote: “Congratulations you three!! So happy for you all.”

Daisy Campbell posted: “Izzy!!! So proud of you! Welcome to the world little one.”

Laura Norton wrote: “Best ever. So happy for the 3 of you.”

The actress first announced her pregnancy in August last year, just months after she married teacher Adam Whitehead.

She captioned the picture of her holding the scan with: “First comes love, Then comes marriage, Then comes… Baby Whitehead ❤️.”

The couple tied the knot in Manchester in April last year, with Isabel sharing snaps of her stunning bridal gown.

They had become engaged in 2023, a year after they started dating.

Meanwhile, her exit storyline from Emmerdale to go on maternity leave was revealed earlier in January.

Viewers know that Victoria killed her serial killer brother John as he tried to kidnap her during the Corriedale crossover event.

She was then blackmailed by Joe Tate who has forced her and Robert to sign over their share of the farm to them to keep Victoria out of prison.

But the guilt-stricken mum of one has struggled to cope in the aftermath of what she’s done.
