CORRIE BLIMEY! Emmerdale and Coronation Street stars KILLED OFF in dramatic Corriedale crossover as dead character makes shock comeback
CORRIEDALE has seen two shock deaths and one massive return from the dead tonight.
The crossover event between ITV soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street collided in a huge stunt in an hour-long special tonight with two characters meeting their makers.

Bosses had promised the one-off event would be life-changing and catastrophic and they weren’t wrong.
Centring around a car crash pile-up, Aaron Dingle’s attempts to force serial killer husband John Sugden to hand himself into the police for his crimes, combined with Becky Swain’s scheme to take her family to Spain collided as the cars smashed into each other.
Hot on their heels, Carla Connor, having been rescued from being left to die by Becky by Kit Green, ran into the road just in time to stop the minibus carrying the Coronation Street wedding guests from hitting the car.
Unfortunately it overturned as driver Billy Mayhew swerved out of the way and then more cars joined the chaos.

Carl Webster’s speeding exit from sister Debbie’s wedding saw him crash into the cars and then drag dementia-sufferer Debbie into the driving seat and try to flee – before passing out on the roadside.
And Mackenzie Boyd crashed through a field with pregnant wife Charity, but found himself impaled to his seat by a metal pole.
Meanwhile John Sugden slipped away with his gun and tried to make his escape before Aaron could raise the alarm.
In the minibus most of the others managed to escape but Billy was left trapped by his seat belt.
Sadly as he tried to get out, Theo arrived and clipped Billy back into his seat belt before leaving him to burn alive in a horrifying first death of the episode.
Actor Daniel Brocklebank was axed from the soap last year and these were his final scenes.

The other big death in the episode came as killer John finally paid for his crimes as the show sparked a new whodunnit.
His scheme to keep Aaron and Robert apart failed and the pair got engaged at the roadside – shortly before Robert set off to hunt John down once and for all.
He was joined by Cain Dingle who picked up a very large stick to help.
In the woodland they ran into Kit Green who was knocked out by John before the brothers found and the shotgun went off – shooting Cain in the stomach – but he still got up and went on to hunt John down.
Later the second big death was revealed as Victoria Sugden was seen standing over John’s body in the woods but who killed him remains a mystery.
Another exit hint came when Becky Swain was finally arrested for her crimes – by her wife Lisa who was in an ambulance bed at the time, handcuffing her to herself to stop her fleeing.
Throughout the episode a man in a hooded raincoat could be seen with a woman tied up in the back of his van.
The woman knocked herself out on a tree while fleeing him, and was found to have a distinctive tree tattoo – that was also seen on Corrie’s Shona Platt, hinting at a connection between the pair.
But the big shock came when the man’s identity was revealed as Graham Foster.
Graham famously died in Emmerdale in 2020 when he was murdered by Pierce Harris, his body left to rot in woodland in a huge whodunnit mystery.
He was seen in the hospital having got Joe Tate there, and Joe appears to have seen a glimpse of Graham before he slipped away.
Also at the hospital after the crash Shona Platt went into premature labour, but things took a devastating turn when David collapsed in a seizure leaving his fate unknown.
Likewise Carl Webster flatlined as his brother Kevin watched having told him he knows he tried to frame Debbie for the crash.
And in another shock Cain discovered that he had cancer in the hospital and faced that battle ahead.
The episode ended with taxi driver Tim Metcalfe driving Chas Dingle back to the village the morning after the accident.
It was also revealed that the fans voted for a special scene between Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle and Corrie’s Carla Connor as the shellshocked pair managed to flirt in the hospital before going their separate ways.
There was also a nod to the stars who have crossed between the soaps when Steve McDonald spotted Jai Sharma driving a van and quipped he thought he had seen someone he used to work with.
