The pair met on the cobbles six years ago before tying the knot in 2022, two years after getting engaged.
Their union meant Sally also inherited a step-family, with Joe father to three children, who he shares with a former partner.
But speaking of the blended family dynamic, the 50-year-old shared: “It’s worked out great, the kids are gorgeous and brilliant.”
And as she spoke to Yours Magazine, Sally revealed more details about her and Joe’s family life as she revealed they’re now grandparents.

But she’s not being called ‘grandma’ as the soap star shared: “It’s really lovely and I feel very lucky.
“Although at 50 I’m not happy with the title of grandma So instead, I’m called ‘Moo’.”
