BIG UPDATE: David and Shona Grieving the Loss of Their Little Girl – Coronation Street’s Most Heartbreaking Tragedy Yet!

Emotional scenes lie ahead in Coronation Street next week, as revealed in three brand new video clips, with big news delivered for one clan while a show legend struggles under the pressure.

David and Shona Platt (Jack P Shepherd and Julia Goulding) attend an appointment at the doctors, where they’re informed that their unborn baby has a mass on her neck.

The revelation shakes the pair to the core as they struggle to come to terms with the information that’s being delivered to them.

Elsewhere, Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) struggles while at work and lashes out at her colleagues and work machine before storming off.

And new Rovers landlord remains in the dark about Megan (Beth Nixon) having groomed his son Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), offering her to come inside and get some food before she sets off.

Megan is on edge, believing she has escaped the situation, but will the truth come out?

Monday November 10

Izzy, Kirk and Michael talk about Carla’s mood, which they reckon is due to rumours that the wedding is off.

Fiz, meanwhile, struggles to get her machine working and asks Izzy if she had anything to do with it, which leaves Izzy confused as too why she’s being accused.

Izzy subsequently makes a comment about kids, which frustrates Fiz, who lashes out and attacks her machine, before storming off.

Wednesday November 11

The devastated parents attempt to process the news as the doctor informs them that abortion is an option but if they decide to go ahead with the pregnancy, Shona will require regular appointments and will need to undergo a risky operation.

Shona is overwhelmed and clings on to the fact that the baby is a girl.

Friday November 13

Megan makes her excuses to leave while Ben quizzes her on Will and if he’s confided in her at all.

Ben reckons Megan should stick around and get a bite to eat before departing, insisting on such a thing, much to her chagrin.
