Coronation Street reveals trouble for new villain Megan Walsh tonight, as scheming Tracy McDonald may have already realised that she’s not to be trusted. As the Weatherfield residents gossip over Megan’s strange behaviour at Bertie Osbourne’s birthday party, Tracy can’t resist having her say.
Wednesday’s episode sees Megan among the Barlow family’s guests as they celebrate Bertie’s 7th birthday at No.1. Daniel Osbourne, who’s currently dating Megan, is keen for his new love interest to be at the party now that their relationship seems to be getting more serious.
There’s trouble at the gathering when Alya Nazir asks Bertie to retrieve the birthday cake candles from her handbag. Bertie mistakenly looks through Megan’s bag instead and pulls out a pregnancy test for all to see.
Megan notices Daniel’s shocked reaction and makes out that the test isn’t for her, but she still storms out as she’s annoyed by his response.

Feeling guilty over her part in the mix-up, Alya hurries after Megan to check on her.
“I got it for one of the girls at school,” Megan clarifies, needing an excuse for why she had the test. “The look on [Daniel’s] face, it was like his whole world had ended. It was like he was ashamed or something.”
Later, everyone heads to the pub – joined by Megan, who’s willing to give Daniel another chance despite the pregnancy test fiasco.
When Alya catches Tracy up on the drama that unfolded earlier, she insists that it was all a storm in a teacup. But wily Tracy isn’t so sure that Megan is telling the truth about the test…

“Are you sure it’s not for her?” Tracy asks. “I mean, it doesn’t look like she’s drinking.”
Alya points out that this doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but Tracy replies: “Mark my words, though – there’s something about her…”
Tracy proved her detective skills last year when she was the first person to uncover Abi and Carl Webster’s affair. Could she strike again by exposing Megan’s deception?
Corrie fans know that Megan has been using her relationship with Daniel as a cover while she continues to groom local teen Will Driscoll.
The dark story will take more twists in the coming weeks as another potential victim is revealed and Sam Blakeman discovers the truth over what’s been going on.
