While down at the Rover’s, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) finally pushes Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) too far and is given a receipt in the form of a bruised jaw.

Monday, November 17

After Theo sees to it that Todd is both late and unkempt for an important funeral, George is forced to turn to Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), who steps up to the plate and ensures that the preparations go off without a hitch.

Finally arriving, Todd faces George’s wrath and is officially told he’s being stepped down and that he’s ‘not fit for purpose’.

George asks Christina to take Todd’s place at the funeral and the two depart, leaving a dishevelled and riled Todd stood alone in the street.

Wednesday, November 19

As both David and Shona face the realities of what their baby is facing, they continue to deal with it in very different ways.

While Shona endeavours to remain positive, David is struggling with the gravity of the situation and is rattled when Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) make a kind gesture.

Presenting the parents-to-be with a gift, all three are blown away when David reveals their babies illness and the horrifying possibility that she might not make it.

Can the struggling couple pull together in the face of what’s to come?

Friday, November 21

Weighed down by the carnage her affair and the subsequent fall out has caused, Abi finds herself lamenting to Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard)about the state of things.

Unfortunately, she chooses to do so in earshot of Weatherfields resident wicked witch, Tracy, and is met with her patented blend of acid and vitriol.

It’s a wonder Abi’s managed to hold back in regards to Tracy as long as she has after all the blackmail and snide comments, but when she’s finally pushed too far, Abi gives her a cathartic crack in the jaw.
