A beloved Casualty character has prompted concern amongst viewers following a troubling scene broadcast on Saturday evening.
BBC audiences have now reached the midpoint of the medical drama’s ongoing storyline, entitled Learning Curve, which has featured some distressing moments alongside fresh cast members.
In the latest instalment, viewers were moved to tears as Siobhan McKenzie (portrayed by Melanie Hill) revealed she had been raped to members of the nursing staff, after discovering they intended to walk home late following an evening out.
Yet it was a particular scene involving Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) that left those watching anxious about her wellbeing.
The sequence showed her clutching the edge of a reception desk, appearing to be in discomfort, as the camera focused downwards towards her abdomen. Whilst the moment was fleeting, it captured viewers’ attention, reports the Mirror.

Writing on X, one viewer commented: “Stevie stopping, grabbing the side, the pan down to her stomach, her seeming out of breath and shaky… GOD, I’M SCARED. I really hope she didn’t lie about getting the all clear #casualty.”
Another responded: “Wait. I just had a thought. Maybe that’s why we never go to see her go through the chemo, etc, cause they are saving it for another cancer storyline.”
A further fan commented: “Worried she’s lied too.” Questioning what had occurred, another viewer posted: “Stevie looking in pain, what the F**K was that then.”
