Ahead of His First Young & Restless Episode, Lucas Adams Says, ‘Noah’s Completely Different’
When they called “That’s a wrap!” on Lucas Adams’ first day at Young & Restless, it was more like “That’s an un-wrap!” since the soap’s new Noah makes his debut Tuesday, Nov. 4, bandaged up like the Invisible Man.

Beyond the unveiling of Rory Gibson’s successor as Sharon and Nick’s son, Adams, who played Days of Our Lives’ Tripp off and on from 2017-24, is just psyched for the audience to see what’s in store for his embattled character. “These storylines are already going in such a fun direction,” he tells TV Insider, “and I’m stoked for the fans to see them.”
Adams is also pleased as punch by the new challenge that the role presents. “Noah’s completely different from Tripp,” he says. “Yes, they still have similar tendencies” — in that they are both basically nice guys who can’t seem to help but attract trouble — “but it’s really nice to get to play a completely different character and go down this long, twisting and turning road.”
Adams’ Young & Restless gig reunites him with a couple of familiar faces: Tamara Braun, who played Tripp’s mom Ava on Days of Our Lives, is aboard as Shadow Room owner Sienna, and Billy Flynn, who’s still airing as Days of Our Lives’ Chad, has taken over the role of Cane from Daniel Goddard (Henry, General Hospital).
