Coronation Street fans say ‘karma’s coming’ in ‘satisfying’ Carl Webster move
Carl Webster got a taste of his own medicine at the hands of Ben Driscoll in the ITV soap
Coronation Street fans agreed that “karma” is coming for Carl Webster after he was threatened by newcomer Ben Driscoll.
On Thursday (October 30), viewers tuned in to watch the latest installment of Coronation Street, just days after the Driscoll family was introduced to the cobbles.
Fans had to wait an extra day for the ITV soap as the Carabao Cup: Newcastle Utd v Spurs aired in the usual soap timeslot on Wednesday (October 29).
However, the episode proved to be worth the wait as Carla Connor returned home from Ireland and was excited to be reunited with her fiancé, Lisa Swain.
Her celebrations were halted when Becky appeared at their home with Betsy, interrupting the couple’s fun afternoon.
After Carla lightly teased Becky, the latter hit back with a quip of her own, telling her she’d made use of the sofa while she was away.
A slightly concerned Carla paid a visit to dear friend Roy Cropper to ask for some advice, and soon decided to speak to Lisa directly and tell her she does trust her.
Meanwhile, there was some conflict at the Rovers Return as both Eva Price and Maggie Driscoll tried to order their staff around, with both trying to be the one in charge.
