Jasmine Fisher seems to have set her sights on Cindy Beale in EastEnders with the latest episode dropping the biggest hints yet.

During Wednesday’s (October 29) episode now available on BBC iPlayer, the mysterious newcomer managed to persuade Peter Beale (Thomas Law) to let her stay at his and Lauren Branning’s (Jacqueline Jossa) home for a while, even getting Peter to agree to her staying in a specific room.

With Cindy away for a bit, it’s vacant, giving Jasmine every reason to suggest she could use the room until Peter’s mum returns to Walford.

Peter seemed hesitant but did agree, whilst he issued a warnin, making a point of asking Jasmine not to meddle with any of Cindy’s belongings.

This scene felt somewhat cryptic and significant, so what are the odds her keenness to be in that room specifically means something?, reports the Mirror.

That wasn’t all, and just as Peter confirmed she could stay in Cindy’s room, a dart was shown hitting bullseye on the pub’s dartboard. So does this suggest Jasmine has hit the mark in persuading Peter to let her into Cindy’s room?

Jasmine has been clearly concealing something from love interest Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), and appears determined to grow closer to Cindy.

Beyond working alongside her at the bar she owns, Jasmine appeared particularly fascinated by Cindy’s history recently.

Making barbed comments about people abandoning their children, there are numerous clues in recent episodes suggesting she might be targeting Cindy, even befriending Oscar, Peter’s brother-in-law.

Regarding her mysterious family, a recent car crash left Jasmine in hospital. She declined to let medical staff contact her mum, whilst a previous scene showed Jasmine telling Nigel that a mystery “she” had destroyed everything.

When Oscar questioned why Jasmine had no social media presence, she blamed her controlling parents. The soap has yet to reveal who her parents are, whilst Jasmine’s surname is Fisher.

One theory suggests she could be connected to Jackie Ford, the prison inmate Cindy grassed on decades ago.

Cindy eventually entered witness protection for years, staging her own death in the process. Years afterwards, claims that Jackie had died didn’t ease Cindy’s fears, as she worried a family member might seek revenge – so could Jasmine be that relative?
