Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce has thrilled fans after posting a precious glimpse of his family life.

Gareth rose to prominence when he joined the beloved ITV soap in 2020 as Todd Grimshaw, taking over from Bruno Langley. Throughout his time on the programme, he has been central to numerous major storylines.

Particularly over the last year, as his on-screen mum Eileen (Sue Cleaver) departed the cobbles in June after a remarkable 25-year run for a fresh start in Thailand. He also began a romance with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) this year.

Nevertheless, Todd finds himself embroiled in a fresh plot examining domestic abuse within a same-sex relationship featuring the clearly disturbed Theo.

Theo’s conduct has grown increasingly manipulative lately, with the mistreatment escalating to physical aggression on several occasions. Earlier this month, it was revealed that the programme will broadcast a dedicated episode centring on Theo and Todd, reports the Daily Star.

Beyond Coronation Street, Todd star Gareth is wed to his spouse Amy Lee Pierce, having exchanged vows in 2014. The couple share a daughter together.

Gareth’s Instagram reveals he’s a devoted family man, frequently offering followers a peek into his domestic world through his posts. Recently, Gareth delighted supporters when he marked a special “first” for his family.

Posting on his Instagram, Gareth uploaded footage of himself alongside his wife and daughter at his little girl’s maiden concert experience. The trio enjoyed American group Haim’s performance – and they had an absolutely wonderful time.

In one video, Amy and their little girl can be seen cheering on the band. Gareth captioned the post: “Thanks to @haimtheband @livenationuk @utilitaarenacardiff. She’s done some festivals, but our girl’s first proper gig experience was AMAZING.”
