While a third penned: “Congratulations! Great news. So happy for you both.”

When Grace arrived in Coronation Street, she tricked Michael by passing off a friend’s baby as their daughter.

This was intended to punish Michael for past behaviour – although Grace’s deception soon unravelled.

The character later gave birth to her and Michael’s actual daughter, Glory, in 2021.

Meanwhile, Kate previously revealed how she was working a very normal job after her Corrie exit.

Shortly after her on-screen departure aired, it was revealed Kate had swapped the cobbles to work at Derby Theatre.

She landed a last minute role in Alex Wheatle’s novel adapted for stage Home Girl, while selling tickets at the box office.

“From working on the Box Office, to rehearsing on stage an hour later,” she said.

“I may have sweated through my leggings, but the smile says it all.

“A whirlwind couple of days but it was a joy to join the company of #HomeGirl for its run @derbytheatre.

“55 hours, 3 performances and a whole lot of love on that stage.
