All EastEnders spoilers for next week as legend faces the police
Tragedy strikes Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) next week in EastEnders, as his desire to take his beloved car for one final drive has utterly disastrous consequences, potentially landing him in very hot water with the police.
Elsewhere, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) continues to suffer in the captivity of Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) as his mission to keep Kojo safe looks set to fail, while Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay) push Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) to pursue a new adventure.
Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) continue to clash, until another bombshell is dropped, while Jasmine Fisher’s (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) true motives ultimately become clearer.

Monday, October 20

Before Nigel sells his beloved car to fund his upcoming trip to India, he decides to take it for one last drive. As he becomes quickly overwhelmed, he crashes with disastrous consequences.
Okie tells Harry to fix their Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) problem as George Knight (Colin Salmon) grows more concerned over the whereabouts of his brother. While Harry feigns agreement to Okie’s plan, he actually tells Kojo to run over the phone.
Jasmine takes the opportunity to press Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) for gossip in the guise of being a supportive friend, deeply wounding Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), who, ecstatic at finally losing his ankle tag, tries to impress her.

While Elaine and Callum encourage Johnny to pursue a business deal in the face of Lexi Pearce’s (Isabella Brown) coldness, the Slaters continue to battle amongst themselves, pushing Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) to the edge.
Tuesday, October 21

Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) receives an odd text from Harry and shares his anxieties with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), while, still in captivity, Harry is ordered by Okie to call Kojo and tell him to return to the handlers.
Standing ten toes down, Harry refuses, but is chilled by Okie’s following threat.
Elaine is immediately impressed by Tim, who Johnny has finally arranged to meet, though Callum is shaken by his appearance.

Elsewhere, Kat reaffirms her commitment to finding Zoe’s son but is raging to discover Zoe has stolen from the Queen Vic till, while Nigel reels in the aftermath of the accident.
Wednesday, October 22

Nigel is haunted by the accident, while Julie Bates (Karen Henthorn) tries to cover by insisting that she was the one driving. Unconvinced by her explanation, Nigel turns to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).
Kat and Zoe are torn further apart as Kat follows her daughter to a meeting with a private investigator, planning to confront her over the stolen cash. Though Kat aims to be supportive, her ears prick up when Zoe blatantly lies to the investigator.
Zoe is shaken later when she hears Kat discussing with Alfie whether Zoe should remain with them.

Elsewhere, Teddy tells Billy that he’s planning to look for Harry in Cardiff, while Harry is utterly horrified when Kojo returns, while Callum shares his suspicious with Johnny over Tim’s motives.
Thursday, October 23

Nigel heads to the police station, accompanied by Jack.
The ice momentarily thaws between Kat and Zoe when they join forces to rescue a cat that’s been trapped in the Vic.
When Zoe rescues the stray cat, she and her mum finally make amends, though Kat’s continued pushing lead Zoe to drop yet-another bombshell.

Meanwhile, Billy commands Callum to stop Johnny trying to buy Lexi’s affection, but when he sees how happy she is with Johnny’s offer of concert tickets, he’s conflicted.
