BREAKING: Sally Webster ‘set for new cobbles romance’ after Tim split
Coronation Street’s Sally and Tim Metcalfe might be on the brink of a shocking break-up, and fans reckon they’ve already sussed out her new flame.
Sally (played by Sally Dynevor) and Tim (portrayed by Joe Duttine) are one of the soap’s most cherished couples. The duo sparked a romance in 2013, tied the knot in 2015, and then remarried in 2020.
However, recently on the cobbles, the couple have faced a few hurdles in their relationship. This week, Tim was taken aback when he picked up a woman in his taxi, instantly recognising her as Trisha Pinkerton.
Tim revealed that they knew each other back in the 1980s when she took his virginity. He was only 14 at the time, while she was in her 20s.

After sharing this with his mate Brian Packham (Peter Gunn), Brian was appalled and explained to Tim that it was actually grooming since he was underage. However, Tim didn’t seem to accept this, reports the Daily Star.
In Friday’s episode (October 10), Brian confronted Trisha, accusing her of grooming Tim as a child, which she denied. Tim was livid at Brian, but Brian stood his ground, telling Tim that he needed to confront the fact that Trisha groomed him.

Later, Tim confided in wife Sally about his past with Trisha, and she agreed with Paul that Trisha groomed him. Tim wasn’t having any of it though and defended Trisha, leading to a row between Sally and Tim.
However, with further drama on the horizon, viewers are speculating about a surprising separation between Sally and Tim. What’s more, they’ve also ‘worked out’ Sally’s upcoming romantic storyline on the cobbles.

On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer proposed her former husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell). Kevin has endured his own romantic turmoil lately following the revelation of his wife Abi’s (Sally Carman) affair with his brother Carl (Jonathan Howard).
Forecasting a reconciliation, one fan pondered: “Can Kevin go back with Sally again.” Another supporter concurred: “Yes maybe for old time sakes Tim might have an affair with that new woman.”
A third contributed: “Stranger things have happened never say never it is soap land after all waiting to see how it comes out.” Another proclaimed: “Watch this space! The foundations are being laid, you might have a point.”
