Y&R Recap: Kyle and Audra Trade Vicious Blows Until He Decides to Chase After Claire, as Traps are Set for Cane
Monday, October 6, 2025: Today on Young and Restless, Victor and Victoria discuss his next move, Sharon tells Nick she’s sure something is up with Noah, and Kyle and Audra taunt each other.

Kyle runs into Audra in the park and they accuse each other of stalking. He thinks her sole purpose in life is to annoy her. Why is she even in Genoa City? How many more times does she have to fail?
She says he’s not going to punish her. They both know he’s been a bad little boy. He may threaten revenge, but she’s still there.
If he wants to be rid of her, he needs to do better than empty threats. He warns the worst is yet to come.
He’ll never understand where she gets her confidence from. She says she has to rely on herself.
Kyle is sure even Sally will figure out she’s more trouble than she’s worth. She taunts him about Claire and he offers to fly her anywhere in the world on his family jet as long as it’s one-way.
They keep trashing each other until he offers her bus fare to the state line. She insists she will leave on her own terms.
Kyle says if she knows what’s good for her, she will disappear before someone else makes her disappear.
This makes her laugh. She thinks he’s a joke. He says he’s been taking it easy on her because he’s sorry for her.
She reminds him his girlfriend just flew off with another man. That sounds like more than a rough patch to her.
She’s sure Holden has “little missy” out for vespers and is running sunscreen all over her.
Audra thinks he’s full of anger, jealousy, and sexual frustration. She may only have one friend but he has none and he only has a job because of his family. If anyone should leave town, it should be him.
He says she hit rock bottom and blew up her life. She’s angry at herself and needs to own it.
Audra admits she was a fool with Nate but accuses Kyle of just hating himself for wanting her so badly.
They accuse each other of being blind and living in a fantasy land. He says she’s pathetic and she thinks he’s ashamed of how much he wants her.
Audra reminds him of how close he was to taking things beyond that kiss.
He insists he was playing her the entire time and gloats that Nate thanked him for exposing her.
“You’re stupid Kyle, but you’re not an idiot. Sure, you had questions about the perfume war plan, but the question is why did you decide to ignore them?” she says, accusing him of being a player who loves the game. That’s why he finds her more alluring than Claire.
She says he needs to accept the kind of man he really is and storms off.
Nick stops by Crimson Lights, where Sharon assures him she’s packed and ready to fly to LA.
She starts listing all the pumpkin drinks she’s unrolling. Nick explains that he may miss the flight because his dad has summoned him to the ranch.
He also needs to pack and suggests she fly to LA on her own. She agrees but he better not keep her waiting long.
She admits she’s worried about how off Noah seems lately. She has a mom sense that there is more to this than their son needing their business advice.
Sharon wonders if Nick might get dragged into the Cane battle and not make it to LA at all. Nick isn’t convince Cane is more than talk.
They chat about their time in Nice and then he asks after Mariah. She says she’s in a clinic in Boston.
She wishes she knew what was tormenting her. Nick urges her to follow her own advice and focus on herself.
Sharon has a terrible feeling that what Mariah is going through is about to get way worse. She thought about calling the clinic but that would be a violation of trust.
She’s sure her daughter needs to work through this but she’s worried. He’s sure Daniel and Tessa will call her when they learn something.
He tells Sharon how brave she is. That’s what she needs to hear. He promises he will be with her and their son in LA.
Once he leaves, Audra stops in and chats with Sharon about Noah. She goes on about how head over heels Noah is for Allie and how great things are with his club.

October’s Beyond the Gates recaps
Victoria joins her dad at the new ranch. They chat about Cole and all the funny videos of pandas he used to send her.
“Send me one. I like to laugh,” he says.
They talk about Cane coming for the family. He hasn’t given in to any of Victor’s demands, so he needs to destroy him.
Adam and Chelsea will put all the bad press about Cane out once they return. That will ruin his reputation.
She points out that Cane has billions and won’t disappear. Her dad is sure it will be over for him whenever everyone sees him as a fraud.
Victoria thinks his plan of attack might only exacerbate the threat. It seems like Cane already has nothing to lose.
If they threaten him, he could follow through on his. Her father assures her he has plans and this is only phase one of his attack.
They start talking strategy. She assumes he’s waiting for Jill to react before he decides on working with Jack.
Victor says the outcome will be good for their family. He won’t work with Jack. He’ll only let Jack think they are working together.
Nick joins them and asks what’s going on. He’s anxious to go and see his son.
His father explains they are about to go to war with Cane and every move they make is crucial. Nick wonders if his mom has signed off on this.
Victor says she knows the family is the priority. His son worries provocation could make things worse.
His dad thinks Cane needs to learn his threats are serious. He has a feeling this will all start quickly but Cane doesn’t know what he’s up against.
Diane and Jack are at Jabot discussing his uneasy partnership with Victor. She still worries this could blow up on him.
They chat about Jill being back and visiting Cane and fighting with Billy. Jack isn’t sure about where Jill’s loyalties fall and that concerns him.
He and Victor will speak to Jill alone to make their cases. His wife worries this will be dangerous.
That seems inevitable to him and he’s not counting on Victor to save him. She continues to worry he’s losing control but Jack promises she doesn’t have to be scared.
They rehash Jill’s complicated relationship with her son and with Jack. He can’t believe that she will allow Cane to sink Jabot or Chancellor.
Diane admits not much will put her mind at ease until this business with Cane is over.
He notices she also seems worried about their son. She knows he’s heartbroken over losing Claire.
Jack thought Kyle was holding out hope. Diane feels guilty because their son seems to think they blame him.
Her husband admits it was mostly their son’s fault. She’s surprised to hear him say that.
Jack thinks he’s just being realistic. They’ve noticed how much coddling their son does him no favors.
Diane still can’t stand to see her son in pain. Tough love is hard and could make things worse. Diane suspects their son will take out his anger on Holden and Audra.
He suggests she show some restraint with Audra herself.
Kyle walks in and announces he is back on his feet and ready to fight since Claire sandbagged him. he’s determined to follow his gut now.
He’s not waiting around to let Holden take Claire away. He’s going to LA to win her back.
