NEW UPDATE! Oscar flees Josh in EastEnders as palpable sexual tension accelerates
Ever since Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) (quite literally) bumped into newcomer Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughn) in EastEnders, the tension and chemistry between them has been utterly undeniable.
In fact, the charged look the two shared after Oscar was left dripping in banana milkshake was described as ‘electric’ by fans. While Oscar was dealing with the aftermath of a broken heart, Josh was facing the reality of being introduced to two brand new families, each eager to get to know him.
When the two took to the Albert to share a few cheer-up shots, it was clear to anybody watching that the raw magnetism between them was becoming increasingly hard to fight, and not long after, they found themselves in bed together.
Despite planning to meet the next day, their date was scuppered by one person. While Josh was putting together the puzzle pieces surrounding his birth father, Anthony Trueman’s (Nicholas Bailey) death, Oscar was summoned to help convince his ex-girlfriend to change her guilty plea.
The ultimate scuppering, though? The fact that the person who killed Josh’s dad and Oscar’s ex were actually one in the same: Josh’s twin sister,Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness).
Yyyyyeah. Awkward.

After the discovery that he’d actually slept with his ex’s twin brother and reuniting with Jasmine at their prison visit, Oscar immediately slammed his foot on the break, calling time on the burgeoning romance, though it was evident that he was fighting his heart.
The cute comments, the lingering looks as they parted ways, it was incredibly clear that they both had it bad.
Oscar, in the meantime, has busied himself with Jasmine’s upcoming trial and the mess that cousin, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine), has found herself in regarding the true paternity of her baby.
Those Brannings, eh?

Next week sees Oscar determined to put as much space between he and Josh as possible and continue to avoid him.
Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), though, manages to absolutely annihilate that plan and, wanting to see what Josh can do behind the chair in the salon, enlists Oscar himself to act as a model for Josh to display his talents on.
Amid the head rubbing, close physical contact and entire lack of personal space, feelings immediately begin to resurface and the tension between them heats up yet again. Unable to deal with what’s happening, Oscar has it on his toes and flees the salon.
Can the boys really resist each other? Or are they just delaying the inevitable?
