BBC’s Casualty pulled from schedule for two weeks in huge shake-up
There’s disappointing news for devotees of BBC’s Casualty, as the show is reportedly set to be absent from our screens for the next two weeks due to a significant schedule reshuffle.
The medical drama, which recently sparked concern among fans over a cherished character, typically broadcasts on Saturday nights.
However, for the forthcoming fortnight, it’s been removed from the BBC’s schedule to make way for a fresh programme.

Taking its usual slot this weekend will be the Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery, hosted by Jason Manford.
The programme will pay tribute to West End productions with nods to the likes of Wicked, Les Misérables, Matilda and Phantom of the Opera, reports the Mirror.

At present, Casualty is airing a mini-series titled Learning Curve and only has two more episodes until its conclusion.
The BBC has confirmed that viewers will have to wait until Saturday, 11 April at 8:30 pm to discover what transpires next.
So far in this series, audiences have witnessed the heart-wrenching storyline of Siobhan McKenzie (played by Melanie Hill) disclosing to her colleagues that she had been raped.
This led to Cam Mickelthwaite (Barney Walsh) attempting to confront her assailant after obtaining his address. However, the confrontation went awry when he attacked Cam, resulting in him being rushed to hospital for surgery after sustaining a head injury.
Meanwhile, fans were taken aback when it was unveiled that long-standing character Dylan Keogh (William Beck) was the biological father of newcomer Matty Linklaker (Aron Julius).
However, one burning question remains for fans: which character will meet their premature demise? In January, Casualty unveiled a trailer featuring various team members appearing distraught at a funeral.
Stevie can be seen delivering a speech at the sombre event, with Iain seated in the front row, leading viewers to speculate about who could be exiting the show.
One of the names being floated is Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell), who has been a fixture on the show since 2019.
On X, one individual commented: “Getting to be together, forever” oh! is it faith who dies then?” Another posted: “Stevie is standing up and Ian at front of church in the quick bit you see. Faith?”
However, some believe it could be newcomer Kim Chang (Jasmine Bayes), as one person noted: “I got a feeling that it is Kim’s funeral that we see in the trailer..” Whilst another added: “I did think the funeral at the end of the trailer was faith and Iain’s baby… now I’m swaying towards Kim; stevie is growing towards her.”
