EastEnders’ Jasmine Fisher has made a devastating decision about her future, as her twin brother Josh Goodwin begins to build connections in the Square. This week, Josh and his adoptive mum Sandra met Josh’s grandfather Patrick Trueman for the first time, but Zoe Slater got word that her son was in Walford and stormed over to the house.

With Sandra asking Zoe to leave before she could see her son, Josh went to The Albert for a drink and had another encounter with Oscar – and the pair shared a passionate kiss.

Josh spent the night with Oscar, and in today’s episode Oscar attempted to get his latest love interest out of the house without Cindy noticing. The pair were smitten with one another but currently have no idea that they have Jasmine in common.

Meanwhile, Zoe broke protocol to speak on the phone to Jasmine, who remains in prison. When her daughter admitted that she was struggling behind bars, Zoe vowed to pay Jasmine a visit.

Sandra came looking for Josh, who had stayed out all night – and it was then that Zoe found them and finally met her son for the very first time. Josh agreed to talk to his biological mum, so he came back to The Vic and was also introduced to Kat, who was overjoyed.

However, Josh insisted that his mum would always be Sandra and was more interested in finding out why his sister killed their birth dad.

Zoe explained the events of Christmas Day and how Jasmine killed Anthony to defend her against him, and Josh concluded that it was too late to fix things with Jasmine.

Josh agreed to return again for a proper meeting with the Slaters and the Truemans. But Zoe’s surprise meeting with her son meant that she missed her prison visit with Jasmine.

Later, Kat received a call from Jasmine, who was upset that Zoe didn’t turn up. The situation got worse when Kat explained that Josh was now on the scene, and Jasmine asked her to give her mum a message as a result.

Zoe booked another prison visit, but Kat delivered some bad news from Jasmine – that she would be pleading guilty to Anthony’s murder. Will Zoe be able to change her mind?
