The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, March 3, reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will try to get through to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gathers more info about what’s going on between Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

For starters, Cane will pay Phyllis a visit and hope he’s come up with an offer she can’t refuse.

Phyllis will wonder how he plans to win her over, so Cane will hint about having something she wants badly enough to strike a deal.

Cane will hope he can convince Phyllis to sign over Newman Enterprises to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but that’s not going to happen.

Phyllis may not be impressed over Cane’s proposal, especially since nothing really compares to the power she feels right now.

However, Cane isn’t going to like it when he fails to get Phyllis on board.

Since Cane is still terrified for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins, he’ll probably vow to make Phyllis wish she’d listened to him.

Cane may promise that Phyllis will wind up miserable, alone and powerless once he gets what he wants.

Phyllis will toss some threats at Cane as well, so things will definitely get heated once she delivers the bad news that she’s keeping Newman.

Over with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), they’ll have an honest discussion.

Now that Claire’s done with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), what does that mean for her chances of reconnecting with Kyle?

That’s something Kyle and Claire may want to address on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

There’s still a lot of love left between them, so we’ll see what Claire and Kyle can figure out.

Next, Sharon will give Daniel a pop quiz regarding his love life.

Since Daniel and Tessa have shared plenty of close moments in the coffeehouse lately, Sharon may admit she’s noticed their growing bond.

Sharon knows that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) hurt Tessa deeply by pushing her away.

The pain became unbearable for Tessa, who ultimately decided to file for divorce.

Even so, part of Sharon may be hopeful that Mariah and Tessa can work things out once her daughter gets treatment.

That’s why Sharon might pump Daniel for info on his own feelings and perhaps warn him about the potential for Tessa to go back to Mariah.
