Georgia previously shared a long-standing romance with actor Mark Letheren. Mark portrayed journalist Simon Kitson in police series The Bill and counsellor Ben Harding in BBC One’s Casualty.
Mark, who also works as a photographer, additionally appeared in a recurring capacity as DS Kevin Geoffries in ITV crime series Wire in the Blood. Nevertheless, it was during his stint on Casualty in 2008 that love developed between Mark and Georgia.
Recalling their first encounter on Casualty, Georgia previously revealed to Lorraine: “We met, he was a sort of semi-regular character, he was playing a councillor ironically, which is then what Toyah ended up doing.”

She continued: “We met, gosh 13 years ago. So yeah, got him out of the job and lots of friends and it was a really good time.” The television star also shared: “Yeah, we’re actually not married but we practically are because we’ve been together so long.”
Georgia’s ex says ‘my life fell apart’
Yet, by 2023 it emerged that Georgia and Mark had ended their relationship. The former pair were reported to have “moved out” of their shared Bristol property, according to The Sun.
An insider informed the publication: “The split was in July 2022 and they have both moved out of the home they shared.”
Mark seemingly referenced the separation in a New Year’s Day message, describing 2022 as “the worst year”. His statement opened with: “It’s been the worst year after a number of increasingly s**t years.”
He added: “My life finally fell apart. Thankfully, I’m incredibly lucky and have a family who have picked up the pieces and are trying to help me rebuild myself.
“It’s thanks to them I’m still here and trying to move forward. For that I am truly grateful. Whatever the new year brings I hope that strength, humility, joy and love are in abundance for you all.”
Georgia’s romance with Coronation Street star
In July 2023, after much conjecture, Georgia confirmed her budding romance with Coronation Street colleague Charlie De Melo, famed for his role as Imran Habeeb.
Charlie posted a collection of photos featuring him and Georgia at a Blur gig they attended at London’s Wembley Arena. The duo – who also portrayed on-screen lovers – frequently globe-trotted together, sharing snapshots from their travels to places like Edinburgh and Sorrento in Italy.
In 2024, Georgia candidly discussed her relationship with Charlie, expressing it was “extraordinary” how the soap has “shaped so much of my life and my personal life”.
She elaborated: “Going away and coming back, meeting Charlie, being reunited with Jane [Danson] at work and now being back up north near my family, I just feel incredibly lucky and thankful for the people that the show has brought into my life.”
However, at the outset of 2025, it was revealed that Georgia and Charlie had chosen to go their separate ways but continue as close friends. They celebrated Christmas apart, with Georgia enjoying the festivities with friends and fellow cast members.
A source informed The Sun: “Georgia and Charlie are no longer a couple, but they remain friends who care about each other deeply.
“They have lots of happy memories together, but are both really focused on work at the moment and looking forward to the future, there are no hard feelings.”
