EASTENDERS has given fans a shock by introducing Zoe Slater’s long-lost son Josh.

The BBC soap dropped a bombshell in today’s episode revealing that Jasmine is in contact with her twin brother in a major twist.

Viewers know Jasmine is currently locked up awaiting trial for killing her father Anthony Trueman.

Her phone has the video showing that it was in self-defence but it was taken by Max Branning who hid it from her.

Later Cindy took it from Max to stop him freeing Jasmine and she was planning to destroy all the evidence to ensure she goes down for a long time.

But before Cindy could destroy the phone, it rang.

“Jasmine, it’s me,” said the voice before helpfully adding: “It’s me. Your brother, Josh.”

The Sun exclusively revealed how actor Joshua Vaughan has joined the soap to play Josh – and he’ll be involved with a steamy love triangle with Jasmine’s boyfriend Oscar Branning.

A source said: “This is going to be one of the hottest love triangles the soap world has ever seen.

“Oscar is happy with Jasmine but when her twin arrives the chemistry between them is something neither can ignore.

“It’s going to set temperatures soaring in Walford. But with Jasmine having bumped off her dad Anthony Truman at Christmas the pair had better watch out.”

As of yet Zoe still doesn’t know that her son is in contact with her daughter.

She believed one of the twins died, only to discover – via Anthony – both were alive and she hired a private investigator in a bid to find them.

Jasmine discovered Zoe’s whereabouts after reading about her return to Albert Square in news reports of her shooting, when she was accidentally shot during a violent struggle over a gun between Ravi Gulati and Jack Branning.

And now Zoe will finally be reunited with her son, having walked out on her twins shortly after giving birth and going into hiding.
