AARON MCCUSKER JUST DROPPED A B0MB THAT WILL SHATTER THE DRISCOLLS FOREVER

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street star Aaron McCusker has exclusively revealed to Inside Soap that the Driscoll family are set to be rocked by a huge revelation. Since buying the Rovers, Ben has been running the iconic pub with his co-owner mum, Maggie, and his girlfriend, Eva.

Ben’s two boys, Ollie and Will, plus his step-daughter Susie, are also living under the same roof, which has made for plenty of family drama. The most explosive moments have come from Eva and Maggie, who are locked in a bitter feud.

However, the Driscolls should brace themselves for even more chaos, with Aaron, who portrays Ben, teasing that the family will be delivered some life-changing news in the very near future.

“There’s a big bombshell that’s about to be dropped that is going to rock us all to our core,” says the actor. “It has the potential to bring us all closer together or the potential to tear us completely apart. That’s all I can say, and you’ll have to wait, but it’ll be coming very soon…”

While bosses at the ITV soap are yet to reveal which family members will be most impacted by the revelation, Aaron explained that Ben’s relationship with Maggie will hit its lowest point yet.

“Ben loves Maggie to bits,” the actor shares. “But there are certain times when he can absolutely kill her and certainly the storyline that we’re shooting at the minute, that is going to come out…”

Maggie is fiercely protective over her family, having covered for Will after he brutally attacked Daniel. So, could Maggie get up to her old tricks, pushing Ben to his limit in the process?

It’s down to fans to speculate, but Aaron is certain that his character will always remain a good dad to his children no matter what comes his way.

“Ben’s heart is in the right place,” he tells us. “It always been. I think he’s struggling to have a closer relationship with his kids now that his rugby career is over.

“I think that they travelled so much and he was so invested in his rugby career, that he probably wasn’t there or around a lot, but he’s trying to be the best father he can under difficult circumstances.”

“The Rovers is not huge,” adds Aaron. “And there’s six of us living there, so Ben finds it difficult, but his heart is in the right place and he’s trying his very best!”
