EastEnders has aired Priya Nandra-Hart’s next move after learning that her other half Ravi Gulati is secretly working as a police informant trying to take down the criminal drug-dealing gangs. The latest instalment began with Priya furious that Ravi would work with the police after everything that happened with Avani — but he insisted that he didn’t have a choice.

“If the mob find out you’re informing, they’ll kill ya. They’ll kill all of us!” she raged. “If you’d have chosen prison over being Jack’s little grass, our entire family wouldn’t be in danger right now,” she added.

But their argument was interrupted by a call from the hospital, where Nugget had suffered another seizure.

Once they got there, they received the news that Nugget had officially been diagnosed with epilepsy, which he developed as a result of his head trauma (that was actually Ravi’s fault).

Although the doctor said Nugget may not even have any further seizures once they find the right medication for him, the youngster felt like his diagnosis meant he was “weak”. Ravi promised him he wasn’t and was determined to stay by his side.

Priya overheard that conversation and buried the hatchet with Ravi for Nugget’s sake. She said that together they would get him out of his informant job, but Ravi revealed it goes deeper than she knows, with Mark Fowler Jr tasked by the mob with finding the mole.

Priya insisted she would “find a way” to fix things and immediately set about getting closer to Mark.

At the Vic, she ‘accidentally’ spilt a drink over Mark and offered to buy him and Vicki a round.

She showered Mark with compliments about being a good brother for Vicki and asked him how long he was planning to stick around in Walford.

He confirmed he had no plans to leave any time soon, which makes him a target. Just how far will Priya go to keep her family safe?
