Another EastEnders resident arrested for murder amid framing plot
Jasmine Fisher’s (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) murderous crimes finally catch up with her in EastEnders next week as she’s finally arrested for killing her biological dad Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey).
However, that’s not before the Walford newcomer comes up with a dangerous plot to frame someone else for Anthony’s grisly demise.
On Christmas Day, fans of the BBC soap saw Anthony found dead in the Queen Vic, with Jasmine’s long-lost mother Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) swiftly arrested for his murder.
While Jasmine has been hiding her guilt, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) has been convinced that Zoe’s long-time nemesis Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) is the real culprit. Kat believes Chrissie framed Zoe as part of her elaborate plot to take revenge for helping send her down for the murder of her husband Den Watts (Leslie Grantham) back in 2005.

Viewers will see Chrissie make another return in the coming days, following the surprise reappearance of her ex Jake Moon (Joel Beckett), who is also the cousin of Kat’s husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).
With Jasmine having recently skipped town, next week Kat gets a lead on her whereabouts thanks to Chrissie.
After managing to track her down, Kat convinces Jasmine to come back to the Square for the sake of her grandfather Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), who is disappointed Jasmine is not there for Anthony’s funeral.
When Jasmine eventually returns home, she’s horrified to realise that her grandmother Kat has actually lured her into a trap when she’s confronted by Chrissie, and does another bolt.

But to Kat’s surprise, Jasmine later returns and produces the murder weapon! She then further stuns the Queen Vic landlady by suggesting they frame villainous Chrissie for the crime.
While fans will have to see exactly how things pan out, events do culminate in Jasmine being hauled away by the police, as she issues a desperate plea to Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) to help her.
News of her arrest soon reaches Zoe in prison, and she is horrified by the development – as is Patrick.
Will this latest twist spell the end for Zoe’s relationship with her long-lost daughter?
