EastEnders spoilers for next week’s episodes confirm new trouble for Max Branning thanks to Zoe Slater’s daughter Jasmine, amid her plan to flee with Oscar Branning

Max Branning faces fresh trouble on EastEnders next week, and this time he’s actually not guilty. Amid a double exit teased on the BBC soap, new spoilers reveal someone causes drama for Max in the fallout to some bad decisions. Ahead of much more chaos on the way for the character, as teased in the flashforward episode earlier this month, someone sets him up next week.


It all kicks off after Kat Moon returns to Walford after some time away, and her granddaughter Jasmine goes with her to the prison to visit Zoe. Zoe explains she’s decided to plead guilty. Kat insists that they tell the police about Chrissie, but Zoe refuses. In the fallout, Jasmine plots to leave Walford with her love interest Oscar Branning who’s also feeling down after recent events.

Kat is under the impression that Jasmine is going to speak to the police about Chrissie Watts’ involvement, but Jasmine is lying to her grandmother. Jasmine hopes to cut ties with Walford, only for Oscar not to be keen. Soon Max tries to talk his son out of leaving, and when he finds out Jasmine is up to something, he takes action.

After Jasmine tells Kat she’s been to the police, Max confronts her about her plot to flee and the pair clash. Cindy Beale soon warns Max to watch out as Jasmine is dangerous.

Soon Max and Jasmine argue once more, and when they take their argument to Oscar he’s left conflicted. Jasmine soon ups the ante though, and makes a claim about Max.

Max denies the accusation made against him, but Jasmine doubles down on her lie. Soon, Max is plotting when Oscar is determined to leave with Jasmine.

Also next week, Nugget pushes Ravi for answers about why he didn’t visit him in the hospital. Honey plays matchmaker between Nicola and George. Linda and Elaine go to The Vic to remember Mick on his birthday.

Ricky arranges a surprise birthday party for Phil and Sam finally shares her diagnosis with her son. George is disappointed when his offer on Walford East is refused. Sam tries to talk Phil out of taking Nigel to Portugal. Elsewhere, Ian is incensed to hear that Elaine has struck a deal with Councillor Barker and decides to fight fire with fire.

Suki and Eve attempt to rally Priya and Ravi, but the family are unaware of just how much Ravi is struggling. When Ian and Elaine’s feud steps up another gear, Harvey intervenes to try to strike a truce.
