EastEnders newcomer Bea’s long-lost sibling ‘unveiled’ and they’re a Walford legend

EastEnders fans believe they’ve uncovered newcomer Bea Pollard’s long-lost sibling, and they’re a Walford legend.

Bea (Ronni Ancona) was first introduced to BBC viewers last week (January 7) when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) took a trip down memory lane and attended a school reunion.

Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) was excited about the event, so offered to keep Linda company as she reunited with her old school friends. However, when they arrived, the pair realised that their names were being verified at the entrance. Linda quickly handed Honey a name tag and instructed her to impersonate “Bea”, assuming the real Bea wouldn’t show up.

The real Bea later appeared and questioned why Honey was wearing her name tag. The pair soon engaged in a conversation about Linda, with Bea painting a very different picture of the Walford favourite. The former landlady allegedly bullied the newcomer, leaving Honey shocked.

To try and restore her reputation with her former school friend, Linda has since let Bea stay at 5 Albert Square, where Max Branning (Jake Wood) is also temporarily staying.

During Monday’s (January 12) episode, which is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer, Bea received a shock when she accidentally caught Max coming out of the shower. “The lock’s broke,” Max admitted.

Linda then volunteered to collect Bea’s belongings from her old flat, with Honey also tagging along. After throwing two black sacks out of the door, Bea’s ex-flatmate, Marcus (Neil Haigh), had some harsh words to share about her.

“That’s the lot. Can’t say I’ll miss her,” he said, with Honey noting: “You’re not very nice, are you? What sort of a man are you that chucks a woman out at night on the street just because she’s forgotten her keys, which was actually my fault by the way.”

Marcus replied: “Well then, you have my eternal gratitude. Bea’s been a thorn in my side since the day I met her. Now she’s your problem. Good luck.”

Now, several EastEnders fans believe that Bea and Honey could be sisters, after they noticed several similarities between the pair.

“I love Bea but can’t help but think she is Honey’s sister – not just through the way she acts but the way she looks too. I hope the writers go more down the Honey route with Bea, although it is good to see Linda getting a more fun storyline,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another added: “I’m not taking to Bea, but she seems a lot like Honey – they could be sisters,” while a third said: “Bea and Honey are very similar.”

Meanwhile, other soap fans believe that Bea could be Max’s secret 2027 bride after their awkward shower interaction today. “I’m gonna call it now… Bea is the bride Max marries on NYD,” one person theorised.
