Emmerdale fans are only just recovering from the historic Corriedale episode, which has left various residents’ lives at risk following a horrific crash involving both Emmerdale and Coronation Street characters. In the wake of the explosive drama, ITV has released some major spoilers which will air next week on the Yorkshire-based soap.

In upcoming scenes, police begin their search of the local depot due to their online inquiry about drugs potentially being couriered through the business. Later on, Jai Sharma (played by Chris Bisson), Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) and Billy Fletcher (Jai Kontzle) are left horrified when drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) body is discovered rotting inside a van. Fans will recall that Ray’s corpse was being dragged across the floor this week by an unknown character who could have been the killer or someone assisting them.

Now Jai’s under mounting pressure as detectives try to work out a timeline of his use of the van.

When the officers leave, telling the businessman they will be in touch with him in due course, Caleb asks if there is anything Jai needs to tell him, as he’s convinced there is a killer nearby.

A confused Jai believes feisty farmer Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) must have murdered Ray, but Caleb feels it was someone closer to home.

After all, Celia is already dead, as her adopted son, Ray, murdered her by stabbing her to death after being part of her human trafficking scheme.

The following morning, the police ask Caleb if there is a link between Jai and Ray. They take note when he tells them about Jai and Laurel Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy) divorce.

Elsewhere, Laurel is convinced Jai is innocent, but he’s become the prime suspect in Ray’s death. Will be end up being charged?
