BBC Radio 2 host Scott Mills has revealed his secret EastEnders cameo – but did you spot it?

The presenter made an unannounced guest appearance as part of the BBC soap’s flash forward episode.

On New Year’s Day, EastEnders went 12 months into the future as it aired an episode set on the monumental day but in 2027.

It featured Max Branning prepping for his fifth wedding day to an unknown bride as well as plenty of other twists and turns along the way.

But in a surprise twist, BBC DJ Scott made an unexpected cameo.

He appeared as himself hosting the Radio 2 Breakfast Show in which Oscar Branning had sent a message into the station to mark Max’s wedding day.

In his scene, Scott said: “How is 2027 going for you?

“Time for some messages – Max Branning, good luck on your wedding day.

“Wow – it says here, fifth time lucky.

“That is from Oscar, hotter than ever in 2027.

“I am guessing you wrote that yourself Oscar! And that one is also from Lauren too!”

Speaking about his guest role on the soap, Scott joked on Instagram: “I’ve been keeping more secrets than Santa this Christmas LOL.”

In the dramatic flashforward, many secrets were teased and a shock return was revealed for Libby Fox.

Actress Belinda Owusu left fans stunned when she appeared in the episode unannounced.

She originally joined in 2006 as part of the new Fox family before leaving in 2010 when her character won a place at Oxford University.

Libby then returned to Walford in 2014 for a three year stint on and off.

But now she’s back in Walford and made a shock appearance in the New Year’s Day flash-forward set in 2027.

The move means that Libby will be back in Walford for definite then – but also she’ll be making appearances before then.

Libby was seen rushing into her mum Denise’s house and finding her phone ringing – at the same time as Jack Branning was calling brother Max’s mysterious bride.
