Emmerdale villain makes sinister return for revenge – with another comeback revealed

There was a villainous comeback on Emmerdale on Monday night, as someone was out to get Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden.

Ross Barton was left protesting his innocence as Aaron accused him of smashing his car windscreen. Soon the real culprit was exposed to fans, it’s believed, as Kev was seen hiding in the distance as Aaron and Robert headed to the pub.

The moment happened at the very end of the episode, and before the harassment intensifies. Aaron and Robert faced tension with Ross, over Robert’s hopes to reunite with his son Seb.

Ross later opened up to his brother Lewis Barton about his feelings, while Robert pushed ahead with trying to convince Angela, the aunt of Seb’s late mother Rebecca White, to let him raise Seb. As Angela came to an agreement about visitation and agreed to hear him out, an emotional Robert hugged it out with partner Aaron.

As the pair headed to the pub to celebrate, they didn’t seem too worried about the car incident. Lewis was a bit concerned though as he and Ross were also in the area.

Aaron had been in the car when he noticed the windscreen was smashed, and he soon tracked Ross down to accuse him of being behind it. Ross didn’t deny it all that well, but it wasn’t him.

As Lewis questioned to Ross who had done it, we suddenly saw Kev hiding out in the background. Watching Robert and Aaron, or perhaps spying on his secret son Lewis, Kev’s return was confirmed.

But as fans were divided over this, some noted the fact another villain would soon be back. So amid Kev’s possible revenge plan, which he had threatened weeks ago, Robron may need to watch out.

Last week it was confirmed that John Sugden, Aaron’s killer husband and the brother of Robert, would be in the special crossover episode with Coronation Street, dubbed Corriedale. This was the announcement of his comeback, months on from him going on the run after trying to kill Aaron.

So at what point will John show his face, and what leads to his return? So that’s two people possibly out to get Robron in one same period of time – but with danger teased, will they be okay?

We caught up with actors Danny Miller and Ryan Hawly, who play Aaron and Robert, and they teased chaos ahead. Ryan shared: “There’s lots of suspense, danger and jeopardy in the lead-up to the events of Corriedale.”
