EastEnders fans think they know who Jasmine is out to get. It’s been a tough week for Cindy Beale in Walford, but what if she’s not who Jasmine Fisher is after? Michelle Collins’ iconic character has found herself in the hospital after being attacked by her teen employee.

In recent weeks, fans have suspected Jasmine’s interest in Cindy is nefarious. The teenager has become very close to Cindy, taking a job at her bar and moving into her house.

After Nigel Bates revealed to Cindy that he had heard Jasmine say she was out for revenge, the already suspicious woman became convinced that Jasmine had been sent by the family of Jackie Ford – a woman she had helped send to prison – to do her harm. Her belief became even more entrenched after meeting Jasmine’s mother, Anita, who said the teen’s father came from a “dodgy family”.

When she confronted Jasmine, the girl flew into a rage and pushed her down the stairs of the Prince Albert bar. Cindy was left unconscious and bleeding until Jasmine’s boyfriend, Oscar Branning, found her and alerted the other Beales.

While this is all very damning evidence that Jasmine holds a grudge against Cindy, some fans suspect that the older woman is not the real target of Jasmine’s plan.

Instead, that person might be Cindy’s daughter, Cindy Williams Jr. Cindy is the daughter of Cindy Beale (nee Williams) and Nick Holland, born in prison whilst her mother was sharing a cell with Jackie Ford. Cindy Sr was thought to have died whilst giving birth to her daughter, but this was actually faked to put her in witness protection after she informed on Jackie.

Cindy Jr lived with Ian Beale for a short time when she was a teenager, but she eventually left with her boyfriend, Liam Butcher, to live with his father, Ricky, in Germany. She was last mentioned on screen in 2024, when she contacted her mother on the anniversary of Lucy Beale’s death.

One fan took to Reddit to theorise that Jasmine wants Cindy Jr, rather than Cindy Sr. “It’s not Cindy she wants revenge on, it’s Cindy JR. She asked about Cindy’s kids. She looked at Cindy’s medical files to see any relation. She told Cindy she was older then she expected when they frist saw each other (if i remember right). I’m probably wrong. But would of hated myself if i didn’t mention it.”

Others seemed to agree, with one commenting that it was “a decent theory”. Another suggested that Jasmine could be looking into Cindy Sr and her children because she might be Steven Beale’s daughter.

“Technically, she’s young enough to be Steven’s daughter. He died seven years ago, but was born in 1989, and she just turned 18,” they wrote. Stephen does have a daughter already, as he had a child with Abi Branning, Oscar’s sister. Abi Jr has not been seen on the square for a few years, after she was taken to see her grandfather Max in France and never came back.

But, Max returned to Walford earlier this year and will make a more permanent comeback on New Year’s Day. When he and Oscar both arrived this year, it was revealed that Cindy still hadn’t forgiven Max for his role in Steven’s death, so many believe it could become a huge source of tension between the two should they meet again when Max returns.
