Coronation Street’s Sally Metcalfe is facing a massive case of regret after a dramatic confrontation in the Bistro, where she mistakenly accused her husband Tim Metcalfe’s former flame, Trisha Pinkerton, of inappropriate behaviour.

The situation stems from long-standing friction in the Metcalfe marriage, where Sally has grown increasingly concerned about the nature of Tim’s past relationship with Trisha. Sally is worried that Tim still harbours complex feelings for Trisha and is convinced that Trisha’s past actions were inappropriate. However, Tim is unable to see the situation from Sally’s perspective, and her insistence on the issue has begun to put a major strain on their marriage.
