Coronation Street star hits back at rude social media comment after sharing new tattoo
Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor has hit back at a rude comment left on her social media post on Wednesday (12 November). The actor, who plays Toyah Battersby, took to Instagram to proudly share a photo of her new tattoo.
The post saw Taylor grinning alongside her tattoo artist Sarah, who she praised for her latest ink addition.
“First visit to the newly established @tiger_heron_tattoo today. Sarah @big.bird.tattoo and Paul @stretch.armstrong.tattoo have created the most gorgeously chilled, safe and inclusive space,” she wrote in the caption.
“It’s an absolute joy hanging out with you both. Sarah, thank you for decorating my body so beautifully, as always 😘”
The collection of photos also featured a close up of the new floral tattoo, as well as a snap of a visibly pleased Taylor. However, her joy was dampened by an apparently rude comment which has now been deleted (via The Daily Star).

Hitting back at the nasty message, Taylor replied: “What a f****** weird thing to say. Maybe I’m having a midlife awakening.”
Meanwhile, a second follower also shared a rude response to the tattoo, in another deleted comment reading: “Please tell me that’s not real.”
“Of course it’s real,” Taylor asserted.

Despite some unpleasant remarks, the comment section was filled with delighted fans who seemed to have been inspired by the post.
“I’m having serious tattoo envy right now. I need to get mine booked in. That’s lovely,” wrote one, while a second echoed: “you’re making me want another tattoo!! the tattoo bug is reaaaal.”
Meanwhile, Taylor’s Corrie co-stars Tony Maudsley (George Shuttleworth), Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor) and Sally Carman-Duttine (Abi Webster) also complimented the new design.
